Kathy is a private practitioner in Acupuncture. She has a Master’s Degree from China in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, and is licensed in Maryland to perform acupuncture.

 

Acupuncture stimulates the body’s natural healing ability, provides pain relief, and promotes physical + emotional well-being. Channels of energy run in regular patterns through the body and over its surface. These energy channels, called meridians, are like rivers flowing through the body and nourish the tissue. An obstruction in the movement of these energy rivers is like a dam that blocks up. Acupuncture unblocks the obstructions at the dam and reestablishes regular flow through maridians. Therefore, acupuncture treatment can help the body’s internal organs to correct imbalances in digestion, energy production, and in the circulation of their energy through the maridians.
